Mazda shows electric MX30. Due next year.

Mazda's first mass-production electric vehicle will be a compact crossover called the MX-30 that gets suicide doors and a toned-down slit for a grille.

The tapered rear end of the allows for a more sporty look.

The car has no centre pillar between the front and rear doors and if you can remember the discontinued Mazda RX-8 Sports Car you’ll recognise the rear ‘half’ doors.

For power Mazda will use a new Skyactiv powertrain Mazda is calling e-Skyactiv. It runs on a 35.5-kWh lithium ion prismatic battery.
