New Fiat 500e...320km range and a starting price of (gulp) €37,900.00

The electric 500 has 320-km (200 mile)-range and is powered by an 87 kilowatt (116 hp) electric motor and a 42-kilowatt-hour lithium ion battery. Its top speed is 150 kph (93 mph)  

The 500 can be charged to add 50 km range in five minutes and can reach an 80 percent charge in 35 minutes, according to the reports. It takes 6 hours to reach a full charge using a home 7.4-kW wall box.  

The electric 500 is slightly bigger than the gasoline-engine car currently on sale. It has a 20 mm longer wheelbase at 2320 mm and is 60 mm longer at 3631 mm, 60 mm wider at 1687 mm and 20 mm taller at 1508 mm, according to reports

It is underpinned by a modified version of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles' small-car platform also used for the Lancia Ypsilon and Fiat Panda, which are both five-door models while the 500 is three-door. The current 500 uses FCA's small-car platform
