Fiat Concept Centoventi wins the Red Dot Design Award 2019....

Ooh…isn’t she cute !

So…The Fiat Centoventi has just won the Red Dot Design Award…. What the heck is that I hear you say !

Well, the Red Dot gang say: The award recognised the need to identify and celebrate new design concept and innovation, the precursor of tomorrow’s great product. Believing a design concept must be evaluated based on its design merit without prejudice, the award created an unprecedented platform that accept entries from companies to design students.

And Fiat says :

The revolutionary Fiat Concept Centoventi - the Fiat vision for the "democratic" electric mobility of the future - wins the Red Dot Award 2019, one of the world's most prestigious industrial design awards, in the "Design Concept" category.

Olivier François, President Fiat Brand Global, commented: "I am extremely proud to have won the Red Dot Award. In fact, this prestigious prize reflects the exceptional innovation and significance of the Fiat Concept Centoventi, with implications reaching far beyond the automotive world itself, and is yet another birthday gift to mark the Fiat brand's 120th anniversary." François continued: "Fiat Concept Centoventi expresses Fiat's vision of "democratic" electric mobility, not limited to the urban context, and embodies Fiat's belief that "Less is more". In fact, Fiat Concept Centoventi transforms "Less" into "More": less bulky, less expensive and less overloaded, but also more customisable and more environmental friendly; in one word, more Fiat".
